In our first video in the Voices section, Malavika Kumaran, a retired professor of economics at a suburban college and resident of Ghatkopar, talks about the difficulty of finding salwar kameezes that would suit a woman her age and size.

Malavika narrates her rare experience of finding the perfect fit on the shelves of a major clothing brand. But usually, she finds that salwar kameezes her size are often very dull. She feels brands should be paying more attention to the needs of elderly consumers in the middle-class and upper-middle class segments who are willing to shell out money for quality, fashionable clothing.
