Would you be so adventurous as to buy a perfume online? It’s like… well, it’s counter-intuitive! Right? But All Good Scents sure seems confident about its sales model – an online-only fragrance store that sells scents for Him and Her. So we asked our #Instareviewer Vyomini Hemani for her take on the All Good Scents website that for all practical purposes is the storefront/billboard for the brand.

“Buying a perfume online is dicey,” anyone would agree there with Vyomini. Not like All Good Scents expects you to do that with your olfactory senses uninvolved. But the alternative is going to cost you. The ScentBox feature lets you choose 3 fragrances at Rs. 55 per tester, Rs. 165 for 3 in all. You receive these testers with promotional vouchers for fragrances listed in the ScentBox section. We asked Vyomini if she’d actually pay for the testers, and she said she would.

Now how would you randomly pick these 3 testers? For that, All Good Scents has an Interactive feature called ScentFinder – a short quiz that profiles your preference based on scent affinity or personality. You can also do this test for someone else in case you want to gift them a fragrance directly through their gift box option.

The Verdict:

Price Range: Vyomini thinks the prices of fragrances, candles and merchandise – that range between Rs. 750- 1,500 – are moderate.

User rating: She gives the site a 7/10, minus points for not marketing their website well enough and she’d also prefer a wider range of perfumes to choose from. Plus points for the ScentFinder and the Scent Box features that make it easy to select and buy.
